We are a
group of fiber artists based in Silver City, New Mexico. New members and visitors are welcome anytime. We meet monthly except June and December to socialize,
to share our current creations, to hold workshops where we learn new skills,
and to sponsor talks and demonstrations of fiber arts. The Guild has an affiliate membership with the Handweaver's
Guild of America and publishes a newsletter for members at least ten times a year.
The talents of our members encompass a variety of fiber arts, including spinning, weaving, knitting,
crocheting, basketry, felting, quilting, and more. We hold classes
and workshops that are offered to the public. We demonstrate fiber skills at a variety of local
events as an educational service to the public.
Our dues are $15 per year, only $7.50 after November 1st.
