Deadline for newsletter submissions is the 24th of the month prior to publication. Please email submissions to suzi@artandconversation.com or paper mail to Suzi Calhoun, 614 N Bullard, Silver City, NM, 88061, call her at 388-3350. Classified ads are free to members. Business card size advertisements are $5 or $20 for 5 consecutive issues. Quarter-page advertisements are $10 or $40 for 5 issues. The newsletter is published in a ".pdf" file format, but is sent only to members--a good reason to join. It includes a message from the Guild president, calendars for the Guild, regional fiber arts happenings, and updates about the Southwest Women's Fiber Arts Collective, an organization we belong to and support. There are also book reviews, lists of officers, committees, and several sub-groups of the Guild including those pursuing Surface Design, Spinning, and Beading. Members who have won awards or been selected for juried shows are recognized in the newsletter. Articles by any member on any fiber arts topic are welcome!
